National Security Scholarships - how to apply

  1. Apply for admission to the Master of National Security Policy or Master of National Security Policy (Advanced).
    1. If you are a domestic student, please apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) portal.
    2. If you are an international student please submit your application through the ANU Apply Online portal.

  2. Familiarise yourself with scholarship requirements and read the award conditions:
    1. ANU National Security Policy Scholarship
    2. National Security College Entry Scholarship for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Students

  3. Submit the following supporting documentation to us at national.security.college@anu.edu.au:
    1. A statement of aims of no more than 500 words
    2. A current Curriculum Vitae of no more than three pages
    3. If you are applying for the NSC Entry Scholarship for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Students, you will also need to provide a statutory declaration or Confirmation of Aboriginality and/or Torres Strait Islander Descent Form.
    4. Contact two academic referees and ask them to complete the Referee Form by the relevant closing date below.

*The scholarships will normally be offered only in first semester of each academic year. However, if suitable recipients are not selected, the NSC may also offer some scholarships in the second semester.
