Dr Miles Jakeman

Visiting Fellow

Miles JakemanDr Miles Jakeman is a Visiting Fellow at the National Security College and a key presenter on the NSC's Executive and Professional Development programs.

Dr Jakeman has extensive experience and research expertise across the Australian national security sector. He began his career as an officer in the Australian Defence Force, before being seconded to ASIO, where he was a key figure in setting up Australia's intelligence fusion centre in preparation for the Sydney Olympic Games. In 2001 he founded the Citadel Group, which he has built into one of the country's foremost national security consulting firms. In that role, he has advised a broad range of national security agencies on change processes related to responding to the post-9/11 security environment.
