Asian security summit: NSC at Shangri-La Dialogue

The ANU National Security College engaged with the region's premier security summit, the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, at the start of this month. Head of NSC, Professor Rory Medcalf AM, took part in the dialogue and held discussions with a range of security experts and policy leaders to share assessments on the strategic challenges facing Australia and the Indo-Pacific. This included a meeting with Singapore’s Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Mr K Shanmugam, which provided an opportunity to outline the work of the College and discuss prospects for futue engagement with Singapore.
