Drawing on more than two decades at the centre of US counter-terrorism policy, including his work in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 and as Director of the NCTC, Rasmussen will reflect on the evolution of the terrorist threat, the transformation of counterterrorism practice and the challenges facing governments today.
The conversation will explore the legacy of 9/11, the lessons – and unintended consequences – of the response that followed, and how the counter-terrorism community has adapted as the threat landscape has evolved.
