This new program offers an in-depth examination of the emerging and critical technologies central to AUKUS Pillar 2 – artificial intelligence, quantum, cybersecurity, advanced defence technologies and supply chains.

Participants will explore how these advanced technologies – that will strengthen collective defence capabilities and contribute to regional security – are being integrated into defence strategies and the broader implications for international security and alliances. Topics include the technological innovations driving Pillar 2, policy considerations, export controls, collaborative R&D initiatives, and AUKUS’s role in maintaining a stable Indo-Pacific region. Through case studies, expert-led discussions, and policy analysis, attendees will understand how AUKUS Pillar 2 fosters interoperability, strengthens resilience and addresses potential security threats.
