As the world becomes more interconnected through people, businesses, and infrastructure, it is essential for Australia to safeguard its assets.

This foundational two-day program builds the knowledge and confidence policymakers need to navigate the implications of rapid technological change. Participants will develop a practical understanding of cyber, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and examine how they are reshaping Australia’s strategic environment, national security, economy and society. Through engagement with leading practitioners and experts from government, academia and industry, participants will explore the opportunities, risks and policy trade-offs arising from technological change and strengthen their ability to consider these issues in their own policy environments.
