This program critically analyses the implications of military, commercial and security activities in space and the challenges to global space governance.

Co-designed with the Australasian Centre for Space Governance, this program will explore the evolving nexus between space and Australia’s national interests. Discussions will critically analyse Australia’s dependencies on space-based technologies; the implications of military, commercial and security activities in space; challenges to global space governance; and the role that international cooperation on space infrastructure can play in national and regional security.
