This program critically analyses the implications of military, commercial and security activities in space and the challenges to global space governance.
This program will explore the evolving nexus between space and Australia’s national interests. Discussions will critically analyse Australia’s dependencies on space-based technologies; the implications of military, commercial and security activities in space; challenges to global space governance; and the role that international cooperation on space infrastructure can play in national and regional security.
