This year we will focus on the theme of audacious leadership. In an ever-evolving security landscape, women are making substantial contributions, enriching defence, cybersecurity, law enforcement, intelligence, border control, and/or foreign affairs.

What does it take to lead audaciously and make an impact? During this course we will explore challenges and opportunities women encounter while leading, or aspiring to lead, in the national security and public policy sectors. We will examine pivotal roles women are playing, and the importance of their leadership in addressing contemporary issues both in Australia and globally.

Participants will hear from and engage with courageous and audacious leaders who have made an impact through their work and careers; and, on day two, will participate in an interactive workshop with Taylor Hawkins from Foundations for Tomorrow to explore the concept of audacious leadership further.

The program will include dialogue, skill building and personal reflection to support participants to define their unique approach to leadership and identify high-leverage strategies to bring the vision of audacious leadership to life.
