This program is tailored for participants with a solid understanding of China who seek deeper perspectives on China’s strategic rise and the complex challenges this poses in the region.

Expert speakers will discuss the impact of Xi Jinping’s rule on China’s political, security and economic settings, and examine how China’s internal dynamics impact upon global and regional power dynamics. With a focus on Taiwan and Australia’s near region, we look at the challenges these developments present for Western policymakers. Course numbers are limited to enable interactive discussion and participants are expected to have a current professional focus on China issues.
