This webinar examined the impacts of climate change on security challenges through the lenses of Australia, the South Pacific Islands and European states.
The Indo-Pacific is the part of the world most exposed to climate change, which puts human welfare and the stability of communities at risk. Climate change is a source of dislocation and disruption with potential strategic consequences. It impacts critical infrastructures and exacerbates all maritime security challenges and its transnational natures also makes it a potential source of regional tensions and a driver of coalition-building at the same time.
In this webinar NSC's Dr Frédéric Grare was joined by Professor François Gemenne and Dr Wesley Morgan to examine the impacts of climate change on security challenges through the lenses of Australia, the South Pacific Islands and European states.
