From 19 to 21 August, Jen Jackett, Dirk van der Kley, and Captain Sean Andrews from the ANU National Security College (NSC), along with NSC Expert Associate Huong Le Thu, contributed to the Quad Critical and Emerging Technology Forum in Tokyo, Japan. Representatives of academia, government and the private sector discussed opportunities to strengthen and advance the Quad’s agenda in areas like technology investment, digital public infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific, and maritime domain awareness and information sharing.

The event was sponsored by the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies,  along with the support of the University of Tokyo, the Observer Research Foundation and NSC. This engagement builds upon NSC's leading role in this space since 2020 – with the establishment of the Quad Tech Network.
