NSC supports the next generation of crisis leaders
The ANU National Security College was pleased to sponsor the 2026 Australian Crisis Simulation Summit (ACSS), which brought together 50 delegates from across Australia.
A student-led initiative, ACSS places participants in high-pressure simulation activities designed to develop their understanding of crisis response and the management of new and emerging security threats. The simulations were complemented by expert panels and interactive workshops, giving delegates the opportunity to learn from experienced national security practitioners.
NSC congratulates the ACSS team on delivering a successful summit and helping prepare the next generation of Australia’s national security leaders.
This year’s summit was led by Director Charlee Vernon, supported by Executive team members Sophie Slee, Anushka Vineet and Matthew Bennett, and Head Crisis Writers Isabella James and Zach O’sullivan.
