Afeeya Akhand is a Researcher at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.

Her research interests include South Korean and Bangladeshi foreign policy, climate change and cultural diversity in national security. She attended the 2022 IMF and World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Washington DC as a Global Voices Scholar and was an Australian delegate to the 2022 QUADMIN Emerging Leaders Dialogue.
