Aisling Philippa
Aisling Philippa joined NSC in June 2024, on secondment from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR), which is at the heart of the government’s vision to revitalise Australian industry, support the transition to net zero and make the most of new and emerging technologies. From her role in the Department’s Office of Supply Chain Resilience, Aisling supported the development of policy advice on supply chain risks and potential actions to improve resilience.
Prior to DISR, Aisling worked at the Australian Treasury, where in the International Economics and Security Division she assisted in work strengthening international economic and financial stability, promoting global growth and sustainable development, bolstering bilateral relationships, and progressing the Government’s wider international agenda, including on security issues.
Aisling holds a Master of International Relations (Diplomacy and Trade) from Monash University and a Master of Arts (Chinese politics and economy) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In her spare time, Aisling enjoys short hikes, listening to podcasts, and speculating on what the latest season of Bridgerton will bring.
