Aletana joined the NSC in February 2024 as a graduate research and administration assistant.  She is interested in gender security, human security, multilateral diplomacy and Australia’s Indo-Pacific engagements. She completed a double degree at the ANU in Bachelor of International Security Studies/Bachelor of Psychology (2023). During her studies, her passion for development, cultural integration and diplomacy led her to complete a minor in peace and conflict studies. Aletana has experience in non-profit organisations such as Oaktree, Headspace, Toora and Young Australians in International Affairs where she is currently the Canberra Events lead.
