Caitlin Figueiredo is the 2024 ACT Young Australian of the Year and a human rights and social policy advocate.

She began her career in the humanitarian sector before serving on three United Nations Task Forces focused on advancing gender equality, youth mobilisation and social cohesion. Driven by her commitment to strengthening representative democracies, Caitlin established Jasiri Australia, a youth-led social enterprise with a focus on empowering women and girls. Additionally, she has spent the last four years as a consultant in the First Nation sector, supporting community-led outcomes
