Dr Atul Sharma

Emerging Associate

Atul Sharma is a medical doctor working in South West Sydney and a Conjoint Associate Lecturer with the University of New South Wales School of Medicine.

He previously worked with a Cabinet Minister in the Australian Parliament House, as part of the Australian National Internship Program, and was a cofounder of the ANU Democracy Society, a non-partisan student society discussing democratic values and how to sustain and strengthen democracy.

He holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Science) with First Class Honours and a Doctor of Medicine from the Australian National University. He is an active researcher in the health impacts of climate change, with broad interests in Health and Public Policy.
