Elizabeth Buchanan was the head of Research at the Royal Australian Navy Sea Power Centre. She was also lecturer of Strategic Studies at the Australian War College and holds a PhD in Russian Arctic Strategy under Putin. Elizabeth is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Modern War Institute at West Point Military Academy and is the inaugural Australian 1st Sea Lord Five Eye Fellow.
