Gai Brodtmann is a former parliamentarian and businesswoman with extensive experience in the public, private and community sectors. She was the Member for Canberra from 2010-2019 and served as a shadow frontbencher on cyber security and defence. She has worked as a diplomat and a defence consultant and is a lifelong advocate and mentor for women. She is currently a chair and non-executive director on a range of boards, and a regular presenter and panellist on public policy, governance, national security and women’s empowerment. Gai is co-founder of the Women In National Security Alliance, a Fellow of the Australian Information Security Association and a former co-host of the Women In National Security podcast.
