Isobel joined NSC in April 2025 as a Graduate Research and Administration Assistant, currently working across several areas of the college. Isobel comes from working at the National Indigenous Australians Agency where she was a part of the Social Policy Group, working on digital inclusion for remote Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Isobel studied at The Australian National University completing a double degree in 2023. Isobel completed a Bachelors in International Security with a minor in Bahasa Indonesia and Bachelor in Arts, with a major in Gender, Sexuality, and Culture, and a minor in International Relations.

The intersection of gender and national security is Isobel's area of interest, looking at how one informs the other in a complex and ever-evolving geo-political landscape.
