Ketty W. Chen is the Country Representative and head of office of the National Democratic Institute in Taiwan. Previously she was the Vice President of the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD), where she was responsible for overseeing international affairs and general administration at the TFD. Ketty is a political scientist by training and received her doctoral degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma, specialising in comparative politics, democratisation, international relations and political philosophy.
