Madison Durham
Graduate Research and Administration Assistant
Madison joined NSC’s graduate program in August 2025. She has previously worked across research projects with the ANU College of Law, ANU Institute for Space, and the UNSW School of Global and Public Law. Madison has also worked in legal roles with the Australian Federal Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, several private sector firms, and NGOs.
Madison holds an LLB with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University. Her research interests focus on the international law of the sea, polar law, addressing ‘sea blindness’, and the securitisation of the Arctic regions.
