Rohan Titus

Rohan joined the ANU National Security College in June 2025 on secondment from the Department of Home Affairs, where he worked in the Counter-Terrorism Coordination Centre.

Rohan joined the APS as a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade graduate in 1995, with postings in Brunei, Jordan and Afghanistan. He deployed as a truce monitor in Op Bel Isi I (Bougainville) in 1997 and was a civilian political adviser in Op Slipper in Afghanistan in Kandahar and Tarin Kowt in 2013. After his two DFAT postings to Afghanistan, in 2018 Rohan returned as liaison officer in the NATO Resolute Support HQ in Kabul.

Rohan has also worked in the Department of Defence at the Australian Civil Military Centre. Outside the APS, Rohan has worked for the United Nations as a special assistant to Head of the International Independent Group of Eminent Persons (IIGEP) in Sri Lanka and as Chief of Political Affairs in the United Nations Assistance Mission for Afghanistan and in the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Arts (Foreign Affairs and Trade) and is currently completing his Master of Studies (International Relations).
