Samantha Kruber
Samantha Kruber is a Senior Advisor with the NSC Futures Hub, currently on secondment from the Department of Defence.
With a career spanning defence, foreign affairs and policing, Samantha brings extensive experience in applying futures, experimentation and wargaming approaches to complex national security challenges.
She has delivered futures and foresight presentations and workshops to Australian and international audiences, developed various futures products including a futures toolkit and environment/horizon scanning products, and has designed analytic wargaming activities for senior stakeholders.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and a PhD from Monash University. Her PhD research examined state sponsored terrorism and she has worked on several projects in the countering and preventing violent extremism space. She is currently undertaking a Master of Security and Defence Management at the University of New South Wales/Australian Defence Force Academy.
