Tim Rutherford is a retired senior officer in the Australian Army and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance specialist. Over his 26-year career, he held a range of appointments across Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa. He is a former senior advisor for strategy and intelligence within the Department of the Prime Minister & Cabinet and maintains an active role in cultural adaptation strategies. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia’s, Defence & Security Institute, and serves as the Head of Impact Missions at the Minderoo Foundation.
