William Leben
Expert Associate
William Leben is a Senior Analyst at the Development Intelligence Lab and a former Australian Army Officer with operational experience in Iraq. He has lectured, tutored and run training on topics ranging across climate change impacts, military modernisation, and issues of leadership and identity. He is a 2019 General Sir John Monash Foundation Scholar and holds an MPhil in Development Studies (Oxford). His other research interests include colonial PNG, Australian foreign and defence policy, future war, power and culture within organisations.
