NSC, in partnership with the United States Studies Centre, was honoured to host Admiral (Ret'd) Lisa Franchetti, former US Chief of Naval Operations, for an enlightening roundtable discussion.

Admiral Franchetti served as the 33rd US Chief of Naval Operations from November 2023 to February 2025 – the first woman to hold this position and the first woman to join the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

This was a unique opportunity to discuss and share insights on US-Australia maritime cooperation and strategy with a practitioner of the highest level.
